Iron Maiden es el primer álbum de estudio de Iron Maiden, lanzado el 14 de abril de 1980, llegando a la 4ta. posición en las tablas de álbumes británicas. Éste fue el único álbum producido por Will Malone, quien careció de interés en el proyecto, y permitió a la banda producir la mayoría de sus álbumes. La banda (especialmente Steve Harris) criticaron la calidad de la producción, pero a muchos fans les gustó el rudo, casi de las canciones. Éste, además, fue el único álbum con el guitarrista Dennis Stratton, quien se fue al poco tiempo de haber lanzado el . Fue reemplazado por Adrian Smith.(Wiki)
